Location
Our building is located in the North Loop at 801 Washington Ave. N., on the northeast edge of downtown Minneapolis, in the historic Warehouse District. Locate us at Google Maps.

Architectural Design
Our loft design is the work of nationally-renowned architect Garth Rockcastle of MS&R Architects. With the understanding that space and light are integral to loft living, residential windows and a three-story interior atrium fill home and workspace with light that changes throughout the day.

History
Built in 1913. the historic brick building was home to a farm implement factory, a Studebaker Packard showroom and Shafer Refrigeration. Antiques dealer Architectural Antiques was the most recent tenant, using the warehouse to showcase hard-to-find artifacts of the past.

Community
801 Washington Lofts is home to people of all ages and from all walks of life. Special events that include gallery openings and summer picnics are held throughout the year and help to foster a sense of community and shared purpose in living in a large metropolitan community. Association committees give residents who have the time and interest the chance to direct annual activities.

Animals
Dogs and cats are welcome residents at 801 Washington Lofts. Homeowners are permitted two pets. The Lofts are located just three blocks from the Mississippi River and Boom Island, pleasant environments for pet exercise and relaxation. Pet excrement disposal facilities are located just outside of two exits.

North Loop Neighborhood Association
The North Loop Neighborhood Association (NLNA) is a non-profit advocacy organization that is helping to shape the development the northwest edge of downtown Minneapolis. Many 801 residents are actively involved with the North Loop and are helping to shape the continued growth of this historic district.

The NLNA Board meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month. These meetings are open to all and are a great way to meet neighbors and stay informed of community and development activities. Visit www.northloop.org for more information.
