Modern City Living

Welcome to 801 Washington Lofts, where modern design meets yesteryear to create a unique living experience.

Located in the North Loop, on the northwestern edge of downtown Minneapolis, this renovated farm implement factory and Studebaker showroom is home to people of all ages, from all walks of life, who choose to live and work in the heart of historic Minneapolis.

Generously appointed with original brick and wooden floors, enhanced with steel, skylights and a sense of community, 801 is the original development of nationally-recognized architect Garth Rockcastle and Chuck Leer. Completed in 2003, the building was one of the first to blend old-styled structure with the needs of today’s modern-day city dweller.

Coffee shops, restaurants, galleries, unique shops and music venues are just outside the door and down the street.

Located near neighborhood coffee and artisan shops, 801 features 60 condominium units on three floors. The original exterior is retrofitted with oversized windows and terraces, many of which open to or overlook the garden.

Skylights and indoor trees line interior residential hallways on three levels. Local artists complete the interior landscape with diverse media in our 801 Gallery.
